Belfer Group Reveals Americana Theme
Tuesday May 8, 2007: The
Belfer Group unveiled their booth design for the 2007 Lightfair
International Show held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. The Belfer
Group recreated an authentic 60's style American Diner highlighted with Belfer
Group lighting fixtures. The Belfer ladies were dressed in pink skirts and bobby
socks and the men with mechanic work shirts made popular by John Travola and
Olivia Newton John in the film
Grease.
The Americana Diner theme is a celebration American ingenuity and design
in the lighting industry. At a show dominated by oversees manufacturers and
suppliers, the American spirit was well captured by the Belfer Group whose
manufacturing plant is located in Farmingdale New Jersey.
At 2007 Lightfair the Belfer Group has unveiled over a dozen new lighting
products. Radiant LED Lighting, a division of The Belfer Group, demonstrated
their new Serpentine
flexible LED outdoor lighting fixture as well as their new
LED Micro Track fixture which is
ideal for display case lighting.
The Belfer Group named their Diner "Mr. B's" and equipped the
food service counter with authentic swivel bar stools. The counter staff was
busy serving up root beer floats and hot dogs. Playing in the
background on the wall mounted plasma screen was the movie Grease which brought
smiles to Lightfair guests; a reminder of simpler days when LED lights didn't
exist.
The Belfer Group can be found at booth # 1931 at 2007 Lightfair International.
